Respect in Sports for Parents

One of the most common reasons coaches, managers, officials and athletes, of all ages, cite for leaving sport is unacceptable parent behaviour. The Respect in Sport Parent Program will help define a standard of behaviour for all parents and create a more rewarding, safe and respectful environment for everyone involved. Parents want to do a great job supporting their kids and Respect in Sport provides parents with the tools to do just that!

At least one parent of our players MUST complete the Respect in Sport for Parents prior to March 30th. We recommend that all parents/guardians take the time to complete this module, when possible.

If you have completed this module through another sport, you are welcome to use your RiS # from that sport and not have to take it again.

The Strathmore Thunder is a competitive & development softball program for female youth ages 19 and under. The goals of the program are to develop individual skills of young female athletes while stressing the values of hard work, team play, and sportsmanship. The Thunder will provide volunteer coaches who will emphasize the teams' mission, help guide its athletes to become outstanding teammates and citizens of the community. All to create fun & life long lasting memories.
